  • Swedish artists Sebastian Mullaert and Dorisburg have formed a new duo, Jorum. Mullaert and Dorisburg are regular collaborators under the Circle Of Live umbrella. The new, six-track LP, Bloodwood Moon, is the first time the pair have released music as a duo. As always with Hypnus Records, the release date will fall on a full moon—this time it's August 22nd. "Alex and me started to jam a couple of years ago and our adventures have turned into beautiful moments both on stage (with Circle Of Live) and in the studio," says Mullaert. "The process behind this album is an extension and continuous exploration within the method/concept I've explored alone. This process allows a combination of individual sound exploration mixed with improvised sessions together, where the songs and arrangements have taken place (this time at Inkonst in Malmö)." Bloodwood Moon is Mullaert's second LP for Hypnus, following a solo album released last year under his Wa Wu We alias. It's Dorisburg's first time working with the label. Listen to "Homage to the Wild."
