  • Los Angeles's second annual REFORM festival is expanding to five stages this year, going down on Labor Day weekend from September 5th through 6th. As usual, the techno-focused event will run from mid-afternoon until late the next morning, although this time the scale is much bigger, with a four-stage daytime party followed by a nighttime afterhours curated by DVS1 and co-presented by DJ Mag. This is the second edition of the festival following 2019's debut with Robert Hood, Insolate, DJ Hyperactive and Annika Wolfe (who returns to play 2021). On Sunday, September 5th, REFORM will take over all rooms of the historic Mid-City venue Catch One, with artists like Danny Tenaglia, Josh Wink, Lauren Flax, Rrose, Headless Horseman, Deru and Drumcell, who will be hosting a showcase for his label BL_K NOISE. There will also be a Los Angeles-focused Discovery Stage with local DJs Annika Wolfe, Jeniluv, Jelani and more. The DVS1 nighttime portion, meanwhile, will feature his fellow Minneapolis DJs Bernt and Lonefront, plus local Lindsey Herbert. REFORM is a collaboration betweeen Los Angeles promoters Synthetik Minds, Dirty Epic and 6AM Group.
