  • Grime producer Proc Fiskal is back on Hyperdub for his second album. Arriving September 30th on vinyl, CD and digitally, Siren Spine Sysex is described as a pop record that pairs grime with samples of Gaelic, Irish and English folk music. Inspired by The Cocteau Twins, The Roches, Kate Bush and Fiskal's family history of folk traditions, the 14-track LP also incorporates textural sounds influenced by FM synthesis. Since his 2018 debut album, Insula, on Hyperdub, Fiskal has released a slew of 12-inches, including Lothian Buses from earlier this year and 2019's Shleekit Doss. Listen to "Leith Tornn Carnal."
