- The key festival returns to Amsterdamse Bos from August 6th to August 8th.
Dekmantel is back after postponing last year's edition.
The nine year-old Dutch institution has announced daily programming for this year's edition, which runs from August 6th to August 8th at Amsterdamse Bos, with a focus on high-profile acts. Back-to-back sets include Antal and Hunee DJing for 10 hours, Randomer & Matrixxman and Skee Mask DJing with Stenny.
Live acts include 808 State Aurora Halal, dBridge as Black Electric, Floating Points, Karenn, Robert Hood, Freedom Engine and Bufiman. Aquarian, Batu, DJ Stingray, DJ Harvey, DjRUM, Helena Hauff, Interstellar Funk, Juliana Huxtable, SHERELLE and Josey Rebelle are among those slotted to DJ.
Last year, the Amsterdam event said it would carry over its 2020 line-up and while most names remain the same, there are, as you might expect, some slight differences. Theo Parrish and Nurse With Wound are among the artists no longer scheduled to appear.
Dekmantel's news comes a few days after the Dutch government announced that multi-day festivals can run at full capacity starting from July 29.
The festival's website doesn't currently list any requirements for masks, vaccine certificates or negative Covid-19 tests. As of June 16th, Dutch authorities reported 1,040 new Covid-19 cases.
