  • The Superfreq returns with a new format on February 12, upping the anti in 2006 as it steps up from its previous monthly Saturday night residency to a weekly Sunday affair. Co-founder of the London club The End, Mr C. will continue to head up his Superfreq'y night alongside residents Dollz at Play. Who are being heralded as ones to watch in 2006. Speaking to RA about the state of London clubland and the progression towards Sunday nights, Mr C said: "The Sunday crowd is way more in tune musically, more switched on & generally more fun - Viva los Domingos". The planned closing time is 5am, but if the crowd is up for it and the mood is just right they have no troubles entering the twilight zone taking full advantage of AKA's 24 hour drinks license. Stumbling out of the Tottenham Court road club and straight into work with a beer in hand has never seemed so easy. Speaking about the artists playing Mr C comments, "Guests will be picked on the basis of their turntable skills and ability to rock the party - they'll represent the best of the UK's underground talents along with some special friends and like-minded souls from Europe and further afield! "Superfreq's format is changing to nourish fluidity and keep the focus firmly on having fun. There will be an organic and flexible approach to booking DJs, allowing the club to enable the most exciting guests to join the party at AKA." Sunday is the new black.
