  • IMOGEN is launching a label, party and community platform called Wigs. Wigs is intended to unite the community surrounding IMOGEN's NTS Radio show and online production mentoring sessions. It launches today with a free-to-download goodie bag, and launches in-person with a party at London club fabric on September 4th. The Wigs concept stems from IMOGEN "missing a space to go to regularly, where you know exactly what vibe of the party is going to be," she told Resident Advisor. She aims to be the first to replicate this online, with the long-term goal to "have a creative space and cafe with music studios, a record shop, sustainability workshops and music mentoring for minority groups." IMOGEN, whose first record came via Earwiggle this February, is currently writing new music for the inaugural Wigs release.
