  • London label and NTS Radio show Death Is Not The End has curated clips of the UK's first Black-owned pirate radio station. Released by Moscow label The Letter Tape Series, Death Is Not The End is a selection of audio from the Dread Broadcasting Corporation archives dating back over 40 years. The cassette is essentially an edited version of Death Is Not The End's NTS broadcast in 2018, including snippets of conversation and tracks spanning reggae, lovers rock and dub. The Dread Broadcasting Corporation, AKA Rebel Radio, was founded in 1980 by Leroy Anderson and remained on air until 1984. Death Is Not The End is out now via The Letter Tape Series. Listen to clips via Boomkat.
Correction: A previous version of this story said that Death Is Not The End released the tape. That was incorrect. The tape was curated by Death Is Not The End and released by The Letter Tape Series.
