    Thursday, August 26th

    Bristol

    • The mighty Livity Sound will host a dance at the Trinity Centre on September 10th, with Peverelist, Karima F, Forest Drive West, Surgeons Girl and more confirmed on the night.

    London

    • The Black Artist Database (formerly Black Bandcamp) has just announced a new event series, which kicks off at The Colour Factory in Hackney Wick on October 1st. No confirmed lineups yet, but you can sign up for updates here.

    Wednesday, August 25th

    Manchester

    • The High Hoops Pride Weekender returns this coming weekend, with an all-star cast spread over two late-night parties at The White Hotel, plus a daytime do at SQUARE ONE. Midland, Or:la, CCL, Dan Beaumont and more lead the festivities.

    Friday, August 20th

    Liverpool

    • Two-day festival The One In The Woods kicks off this Saturday, August 20th, set in secluded woodlands on the outskirts of Liverpool. Ben Klock, Lucy and Perc are among the techno names, with drum & bass via the likes of Fabio & Grooverider, Doc Scott and Loxy.

    Newcastle

    • Long-running promoters Ape-X invite rising Palestinian techno star Sama' Abdulhadi to the city, for her first ever show on Tyneside. Catch her at World Headquarters on Friday 27th. Last updated: 10:00 AM BST, August 17th

    Manchester

    I Love Acid returns to Manchester venue Gorilla on September 17th for the first time since the pandemic. To celebrate, the party has invited Paranoid London to headline. I Love Acid founders Posthuman and former Haçienda resident Jon Dasilva will play back-to-back, with Eastern Bloc's Kerrie completing the lineup.

    Birmingham

    • After a full renovation, Forum Birmingham's launch party will take place on September 3rd, featuring Netsky, Erol Alkan, Chloe Robinson (FKA Barely Legal), Daytimers' Yung Singh and more. In the coming months, the likes of Honey Dijon, Palms Trax, Kerri Chandler, Saoirse, Ben UFO, Kampire and Sherelle will all be playing at the venue.

    Manchester

    • Manchester party Teletech has rebranded and launched a new season of parties at Hidden. Kicking off in October, Teletech describe this announcement as marking a "new chapter" in their story. Teletech began as a small residents party in Fallowfield, and has since expanded into a party series across the north of England. On October 22nd, they will host a party at Hidden with Kobosil, KI/KI, Aletha, Wallis and more.

    Monday, August 16th

    Malpas

    • The first edition of Velio Festival in Cheshire has been postponed to 2022. The festival has cited supply chain issues as the reason it cannot go ahead as planned. Artists like Todd Edwards, PBR Streetgang and Crazy P Soundsystem were due to play at the new concept festival which combines live music and cycling. Velio Festival will now take place from August 19th to August 22nd, 2022.

    London

    Elrow Town has been forced to postpone its 2021 edition due to site damage. In a statement, Enfield Council has shared that the site of the festival—Trent Park in north London—has been so damaged by an event that took place on August 7th and 8th, that Elrow Town cannot go ahead as planned on August 21st and 22nd. The festival has been rescheduled to August 20th and 21st, 2022.

    Friday, August 13th

    London

    • Djrum will play four consecutive Fridays at Phonox this October. The UK-based artist will be joined by re:ni, Bruce, LCY, before closing out the series with an all-night solo set.

    Tuesday, August 10th

    Manchester

    • Legendary nineties party Electric Chair returns to Manchester for the first time in almost fourteen years on September 19th. DJ Harvey will headline the day party at Concourse, Depot Mayfield. His first show in Manchester in almost a decade, Harvey will be supported by Artwork, Lil' Minx and The Unabombers.

    Friday, August 6th

    Shropshire

    Audio Farm Festival returns to its idyllic Georgian mansion setting in Shropshire for its 2021 edition, running September 2nd through 7th. Altern-8, LTJ Bukem and Afrodeutsche are amongst the many artists at the 5-day party, with all profits going to charity.

    Thursday, August 5th

    Glasgow

    • Scotland's first festival post-pandemic will be Riverside Festival. Running from September 3rd through 5th, Riverside welcomes acts including Skream, Jayda G, Bambounou, Palms Trax and Anz to the banks of the Clyde.

    London

    BCKYRD are throwing a series of parties across London, with Ryan Elliott, Egyptian Lover and Chris Korda among those booked to play at Orange Yard, Oval Space and Studio9294.

    Thursday, July 29th

    Various venues

    Crossbreed has announced a summer series of events featuring founder Kiwi alongside the likes of Lakuti, Roman Flügel and Ata. Expect sets at venues like Ernie's Yard, Fire and DARE between August and September.

    Wednesday, July 28th

    45 minutes from the M25

    Field Maneuvers has been postponed to 2022. The festival cited unknowns regarding cancellation insurance and ensuring the health of attendees as factors driving the decision. All ticket holders are eligible for a refund or tickets can be rolled over to next year.

    Manchester

    High Hoops Pride Weekender will take over The White Hotel and Square One over two late-night and one daytime sessions, booking the likes of Or:la, Dan Beaumont and Midland for the occasion.

    London

    • The Lobster Theremin label's first festival, LOBSTERFEST, will take place at North London venue, The Cause. Its lineup, described as a "commitment to diversity in electronic music," includes Amy Dabbs, Bklava, Ifeoluwa, NIKS, Tim Reaper, Mama Snake, Mr Redley and many more.

    Tuesday, July 27th

    Belfast

    AVA Festival has revealed afterparties with Optimo, Sally C, Cromby and a range of local DJs. The festival has also announced which artists are playing on which days, check their website for more information.

    Brighton

    • Patterns club in Brighton shares its full programme for July through September, with bookings including OK Williams, Gilles Peterson, Yu Su, Goldie B2B Martyn and Peach. View the full listings here.

    Birmingham

    Forum Birmingham (formerly The Ballroom) will open its doors on September 3rd. Local hero Mike Skinner is billed for the launch party, together with the venue's residents Theo Kottis, Erol Alkan, Yung Singh, Shosh, Hammer, Barely Legal and Oneman.

    London

    • Join Ben UFO at The Cause on the weekend of August 7th and 8th, where he will play two, nine-hour sets across the weekend.

    London

    • BBC 6Music will curate a stage at London's All Points East festival, which takes place over the August bank holiday weekend. Mary Anne Hobbs, Gilles Peterson and Tom Ravenscroft have curated the lineups, inviting the likes of Jamz Supernova, Colleen "Cosmo" Murphy, Shy FX, Loraine James and Floating Points

    Bedford

    • Due to forced cancellations of international artists, Labyrinth Open Air has secured additional sets from Floating Points (who plays three hours), Maribou State and Jungle for its opening date on August 7th. Anu, Josey Rebelle, Nabihah Iqbal, Elder Island and Fred Again.. are also booked.

    Nottingham

    • Wigflex has condensed its run of summer parties into a mini-festival on August 21st, with Jossy Mitsu, Dr Banana, Peach and Bradley Zero billed.

    Macclesfield

    • Cheshire festival Hide&Seek has announced a house and minimal-focused lineup featuring Raresh, Sonja Moonear, Youandewan, The Ghost and many more.

    Tuesday, July 20th

    London

    • After 16 months in the dark, FOLD reopens this weekend with three parties in as many days. The pick has to be an 18-hour event with Dax J and more, running from Friday night through Saturday 4 PM. • After a false start in 2020, Bethnal Green spot Space 289 returns this weekend and throughout the summer, hosting OK Williams, Anthea, Silvia Kastel, Space Afrika and many more. • Greenwich club Studio 338 has a lot planned for the coming months, including shows with Brunch Electronik, DJ Luck & MC Neat, Grime Originals and Cocoon. Browse the listings here. • Stoke Newington basement The Waiting Room fully reopens on Friday, July 23rd. Highlights in July and August include Broken English Club and Dar Disku at Sc&p, plus a weekly residency fronted by Disco Halal boss Moscoman.

    New festival Body Movements has confirmed its full lineup, with more than 30 queer crews hosting LSDXOXO, Eris Drew, Juliana Huxtable, Octo Octa, Tama Sumo and many more.

    Manchester

    • The White Hotel has announced Studio 54½, a non-stop event running from Friday, July 23rd through Monday the 26th. The lineup is largely a secret, though Roly Porter, Tom Boogizm and Flora Yin-Wong will perform.

    London

    Pitchfork is throwing its first festival in London. It'll take place over five days and 12 venues, including fabric, Fire, The Roundhouse and the Southbank Centre.

    Surrey

    • New festival Summer Love is set to launch in September with a lineup packed with acid house legends, including Robert Owens, Adamski and Mr. C.

    • A mammoth lineup of minimal house and techno DJs is coming to Manchester for Animal Crossing's Summer Of Love.

    • Nabihah Iqbal and Libby Heaney's new AI and chanting-inspired live show, The Whole Earth Chanting, premieres at Emmanuel Church on June 18th.
