- The first EP features Seth Troxler, Kerri Chandler, Dixon and more.
CircoLoco has announced a new partnership with Rockstar Games, starting a record label called CircoLoco Records.
The new imprint from the Ibiza party and the American video game publisher will debut with a compilation, Monday Dreamin', on July 9th. Leading up to that full-length release, the label will release a weekly series of EPs featuring music from the album, starting with a new EP out June 4th, Monday Dreamin' Blue EP. Spanning five tracks, the inaugural release contains tracks from Kerri Chandler, Seth Troxler, Rampa and Sama' Abdulhadi, and also includes a Dixon remix of Deichkind.
Rockstar Games has been integrating dance music DJs and producers into their games for years, most notably in their Grand Theft Auto series, which has featured in-game DJ sets from Moodymann, Palms Trax, The Blessed Madonna and more.
"Music is fundamental to Rockstar Games—it's part of everything we do," says Rockstar Games Founder, Sam Houser. "Partnering with our friends at CircoLoco is part of our ongoing efforts to find new ways to bring the very best underground music to the widest audience possible."
