  • A new high-end club is coming to East London. Scheduled to open on June 25th, Glam Shoreditch will combine plush interiors with a strict house music policy. Legends such as Armand Van Helden, Louie Vega, Dave Lee, David Morales and Tony Humphries have been booked for the summer, with support from newer acts like The Menendez Brothers, Siggy Smalls and Natasha Kitty Katt. Glam is the brainchild of Paul Nelson and Carl McCormick, two London clubbing veterans who first met in 1992 before launching Shoreditch's Aquarium club in 1995. Glam sits on the Aquarium site. "The club is just what everyone needs right now—something that's high-end, super special in every way, but never too stuffy or elitist," says McCormick. "We're proudly going against the grain and redefining the glossy glam of the '90s with a contemporary soundtrack." Check out some virtual renderings of Glam, plus the flyer for the opening weekend.
