  • BBC Radio 1 DJ Jaguar is spearheading a production programme to train 1000 aspiring female, trans and non-binary musicians. Future1000 is a free, 12-part online course that will run for six months starting this summer. Powered by FutureDJs, the programme is open to people of all experiences and promises a mixture of interactive artist-led workshops, as well as modules developed in line with London College Of Music Education [LMCE]-accredited courses. "My own experience of coming up in the industry, and often being the only girl in the room, has motivated me to make a change for others from similar backgrounds," said Jaguar. "I hope that Future1000 helps to show young girls, trans and non-binary people what they're capable of." Watch the Future1000 video to find out more about the course.
