- Cylene Suisse Redux is out now on Editions Mego.
Editions Mego has released Cylene Suisse Redux featuring two side-long reworks of live recordings from François J. Bonnet and Stephen O'Malley.
The original recordings were made when the duo of INA GRM director Bonnet and Sunn O))) guitarist O'Malley toured Switzerland in December 2019 off the back of their debut collaborative album, Cylene. They were subsequently reworked into side-long pieces by Ryoji Ikeda and Jim O'Rourke. The label says the Japanese installation artist approached his side with "minimal intervention" while O'Rourke "deconstructed and reassembled" the recordings.
The two-track release is out now via the Editions Mego Bandcamp on vinyl and digital formats.
