- Out June 24th, Together In Static will be performed at Hackney Church in May.
Daniel Avery has a new album on the way.
Together In Static, which lands June 24th through Phantasy Sound, was written with a new live show in mind, also called Together In Static. Avery will perform the LP at two seated, sold-out and socially distanced events—matinee and evening—on May 29th at Hackney Church in London.
"As with many things this past year, the project took on a power and a life of its own right in front of me," Avery says. "The original idea was to simply play a couple of intimate gigs at Hackney Church during the last lockdown. I started to make music specifically for the shows yet, as plans continued to shift, I fell deeper into the waves. I considered a 12-inch or an EP but by the time I came up for air, I realised I had a complete record I wanted to share."
In addition to the live shows, Avery has announced a livestream from Hackney Church on June 23rd. Find out more here.
