Copenhagen-based Erika de Casier has a new full-length on the way.
Arriving on May 21st via 4AD, Sensational marks the artist's second release on the UK label. Co-produced by de Casier, the 13-track LP touches on R&B, house, garage, pop and techno.
In many ways, Sensational is a follow-up to her 2019 debut album Essentials, which came out via her own Independent Jeep Music label. Expanding on themes of romance explored in her inaugural work, this sophomore effort aims to shatter stereotypes of single women searching for love. It's described by de Casier, who is affiliated with the Danish collective Regelbau, as a "bigger sister" to Essentials.
