  • Six-time World Snooker Champion Steve Davis and psychedelic rock musician Kavus Torabi have written a book, Medical Grade Music. "Part sonic memoir, part Socratic dialogue, part gonzo mission to the heart of what makes music truly psychedelic," Medical Grade Music is published this Thursday, April 15th, by White Rabbit. It's the story of how cult DJ duo Davis and Torabi bonded over psychedelic music and discourse, having met at a Magma gig in the mid-2000s. The pair went on to host monthly shows for NTS Radio, DJ at Glastonbury and Bloc festivals, and release four albums as The Utopia Strong, a harmonium, guitar and analogue synth trio which also features Coil's Mike York. Medical Grade Music is available to pre-order.
White Rabbit will publish Medical Grade Music on April 15th, 2021.
