  • Rainbow Disco Club (RDC) is officially back this year. The 12-year-old festival is going ahead with a downsized version on May 1st after cancelling its 2020 event. Taking place at Chidori Park outside of Tokyo, instead of its usual location on the Izu Peninsula, RDC will run for 24 hours this year. Previous editions usually spanned three days. The 2021 line-up is entirely local and includes CHIDA, DJ Nobu, Haruka, Licaxxx, Yoshinori Hayashi and Sobriety. Live sets by Wata Igarashi as well as Kuniyuki, Soichi Terada and Sauce81 are also on the bill. Tickets cost ¥10,000 ($90) but due to the pandemic, capacity is limited. Attendees are also required to submit personal information with ticket purchases to comply with hygiene measures.
