  • A new festival of Black music and culture is scheduled for August 28th, 2021, in South London. Held at Clapham Common, Yam Carnival will present three stages of music from Black artists, with the likes of Davido, Fatoumata Diawara, Pa Salieu, Honey Dijon, IAMDDB, Yemi Alade, Culoe De Song, Femi Kuti, DJ Lag, Sef Kombo and Kitty Amor among the confirmed. More artists will be revealed soon. The debut edition, originally scheduled for August 2020, was cancelled due to the pandemic. Visit the Yam Carnival website for more information.
