  • French designer Cedric Hervet, a longtime collaborator with Daft Punk, is behind the renovation of popular Hong Kong venue Cassio. Hervet, who created album covers and stage set-ups for the French duo before their recent split, worked with his cousin Nicolas Hervet to craft custom-made furniture, lighting and a DJ booth for five year-old Cassio, according to Tatler. Speaking to the magazine, Cedric Hervet described the DJ booth as a "spaceship that landed on the dance floor." Keeping The Great Gatsby in mind, the Paris-based creative said he wanted the space to "create a bridge between the 1920s and today.” Together, the Hervet cousins run the luxury furniture design house Hervet Manufacturie. Their previous work was frequently photographed by Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter. Read Tatler's story for more details. Photo credit: Chester Ong
