Nowadays, the popular New York City club located on the border of Bushwick and Ridgewood, will reopen its backyard this weekend.
DJs will resume playing listening sets on April 2nd and the outdoor film series curated by Yulan Shyboi Grant and Gabriele Caroti will return on April 5th. The club is still adhering to their COVID safety plan, instituted last summer. For now, admission is by reservation only. A timeline for full reopening is still TBD as the club awaits approval for a Shuttered Venue Operators Grant as well as a sharp decline in new COVID-19 cases as more people are vaccinated.
This weekend Nowadays will be open from 4 to 11 PM on Friday and noon to 11 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Beginning April 1st, the backyard will be open from 4 to 11 PM Monday through Friday and noon to 11 on the weekends.
