London festival Waterworks prepares first edition in 2021

- Waterworks Festival is gearing up for its first edition in 2021. Originally meant to debut last August, Waterworks will now take place on September 25th at a different location, Gunnersbury Park in West London, with a lineup that includes FAUZIA, Shanti Celeste, Om Unit, Yu Su, Sicaria Sound, Novelist and Tim Reaper. "After visiting multiple sites and what feels like hundreds of hours of research we finally discovered a remote location inside Gunnersbury Park," says Waterworks. "Enclosed by 360 degrees of foliage this semi-woodland area is overshadowed by infrastructure, juxtaposing nature and industry beautifully." They add: "Importantly, [Waterworks] will NOT be dominated by 'headliners,' but a lineup that is greater than the sum of its parts, made from artists that we know and trust to deliver the same care and attention with their sets as we will with the production... We want to build a festival that our mates would come to but also for dance music lovers, young or old." The festival's founders include the teams behind Love International and Percolate.
