German producer Roman Flügel has an EP and an album on the way.
Scheduled for March 19th and May 7th, respectively, Anima EP and Eating Darkness LP will land on frequent collaborator Gerd Janson's Running Back imprint. The album comprises nine tracks, while its forerunner, features five, including a track named for the LP, "Eating Darkness" (which doesn't appear on the album itself).
Last year, Flügel launched the Running Back sub-label, Sister Midnight, to release his own material new and old. These next two records come after his involvement in the Virtual Dreams: Ambient Explorations In The House & Techno Age, 1993-1997 compilation, which featured his 1994 track with Jörn Elling Wuttke as The Primitive Painter, "Levitation."
