  • Resident Advisor and PRODUCERGIRLS are hosting an online community meet-up for beginner women and gender minorities in music production on Wednesday, March 10th. Zoomy Thought Spa will be led by PRODUCERGIRLS cofounders E.M.M.A., Ikonika and Nightwave, plus London-based artist Mwen. Starting at 6 PM GMT, the 90-minute session will begin with a guided meditation led by Namalee Bolle before focussing on the main topic: how to maintain a creative flow during weird times. There will also be a Q&A, tech tips and chats in breakout rooms. "We wanted to think of a way we can connect with our PRODUCERGIRLS community in a restorative and helpful way," said E.M.M.A. "We're in this weird space where there is no real life music production community meet-ups, but everyone, particularly new producers, are suffering from fatigue of trying to learn things on their own online. It's been hard." There are 30 places available for Zoomy Thought Spa. Sign up here. Founded in 2016, PRODUCERGIRLS was one of the first to offer free music production workshops in the UK for girls and gender minorities.
