- The ten-track work touches on Khaleeji folk music, drone, noise and post-industrial.
Bahraini musician Sarah Haras is Chinabot's newest artist.
Her latest LP, Mirage, arrives on March 5th via the Asia-focused label. The work is influenced by Khaleeji folk music, a style indigenous to certain Arab countries along the Persian Gulf, as well as experimental genres such as noise and drone.
Haras is a resident at music platform Ma3azef, which focuses on Arab artists. Her track "Bliss" was featured on last year's Nisf Madeena compilation that Ma3azef co-curated.
Listen to "Wish That I" from Mirage.
