- Texas Thaw Heat aims to raise money for mutual aid groups after the state's historic winter storm last month.
Mr. Legwork has put together a compilation to raise money for Texas mutual aid groups.
Texas Thaw Heat comes in the wake of the unprecedented deep freeze that Texas faced in February, resulting in power outages for millions of people.
"Many areas across the state are still dealing with the fallout from this disaster," the compilation's notes say. "Home damage, burst pipes, a lack of potable water, or even the ability to obtain food and water at the local grocery store due to massive demand and food spoilage."
The compilation features a wide range of Texas artists including Legwork himself, plus Rami, DJ Akoza, Mission Indigo, Ben Hixon and more. All proceeds from the compilation will go towards various local mutual aid groups in Texas's largest cities. For full details, check out the Bandcamp page.
