- The band will also stream a live performance of their Renegade Breakdown album, shot by filmmaker Denis Côté.
Marie Davidson & L'Œil Nu have announced a series of new remixes and a livestream, Renegade Breakdown Live, to be broadcast on March 11th.
The trio, comprising Marie Davidson, Pierre Guerineau and Asaël R. Robitaille, regrouped after Davidson quit solo touring in 2019 and released their debut album, Renegade Breakdown, in September last year. Now Jlin, Young Marco and Morgan Geist have been tapped for remixes of the album's tracks, with Jlin's take on "C'est parce que j'm'en fous" released first and the others to follow.
The band will also stream a one-off live performance of Renegade Breakdown via NoonChorus from 8 PM GMT on March 11th, with Quebecois experimental filmmaker Denis Côté behind the camera. "Renegade Breakdown Live is first and foremost a film, Denis Côté's vision," the band explain. "Without ever directing us, he captured our first ever performance as a band, exploring the possibilities of what a filmed live show could be in 2021."
