  • Amsterdam has a new radio platform. Launching March 3rd, RRFM will broadcast out of Radio Radio, a club in the city's Westerpark neighborhood, with United Identities founder Carista as its head of music. Developed by Radio Radio with support from WeTransfer, RRFM will be online for now but physical programming will start once it's safe to do so, according to a press release. The first round of shows come from local talents such as Tom Trago, Mark Knekelhuis and Shinedoe in addition to international artists that include John Talabot, DJ Tennis and Russell E.L. Butler. For International Women's Day on March 8th, the station will also run an all-women lineup curated by Carista and WeTransfer's head of music, Tiffany Yu. "After dozens of streams inside Radio Radio, it was time for us to go all in on radio," Radio Radio cofounder Vincent Reinders said in a press statement. "Amsterdam needs a DJ community station again," he continued. Check Radio's Radio Instagram for updates.
