Three veterans of Chicago dance music, RP Boo, Traxman and DJ Clent, are each teaching a virtual masterclass about footwork and juke.
Part of a new program offered by music camp Chicago Footworkology, the classes will take place on Zoom on April 10th and 11th. Topics include the fundamentals of production, the culture behind the high-BPM genres as well as their relationship to dance.
At the end of the two-day session, students will also have a chance to participate in an international beat battle.
The entire camp costs $50 but interested individuals can also attend a single class for $20.
