- Metropolix is an upgraded version of the popular Eurorack module.
Intellijel is releasing a new version of the Metropolis sequencer module.
Like its predecessor, Metropolix is built for improvisation, using controls for pitch, gate length and pulse count to build melodic ideas. The new module derives two tracks from a primary sequence, leading to counterpoint-like combinations of melodies.
Each track has dedicated pitch and gate outputs, plus they're complemented by eight modulation lanes that can be used to control other modules or modulate the sequencer itself. Three auxiliary inputs can be used to further modulate the sequence parameters while two CTRL knobs can be assigned for hands-on control of user-defined parameters.
