- Out now, the first instalment only features music made by womxn and femme-identifying producers
FlyGirl, a UK-based organisation amplifying and connecting womxn* of colour, has launched a mix series.
The aim of FlyGirl Mix Series, which launched earlier this month, is to raise awareness to the work the organisation does in connecting "womxn of colour with the skills, industry experience and contacts needed to achieve their personal and professional goals." FlyGirl runs 1-2-1 sessions, workshops and company-wide programmes. A new creative directory for freelancers is also in the works.
The first mix, by Moxie, features music exclusively by womxn and femme-identifying producers, including Eris Drew, Shanti Celeste, Loraine James and Anz.
