  • Two EPs from Downwards sub-label Housewerk have been reissued. Launched in 1996 by Karl O'Connor and Pete Sutton, AKA Regis and Female, Housewerk saw the UK techno artists indulging a relatively house-leaning sound across six releases. The first two, One Day Away and Pipeline, both by O'Connor and Sutton under the aliases Reality Or Nothing and AH Corp respectively, are out now, with the rest due later in the year. The first 300 copies are on coloured vinyl and each release features new artwork by Juan Mendez, AKA Silent Servant. The original records listed a Chicago address on the centre label. Dave Sumner, AKA Function, also contributed to the label under the Dan Nurse alias. O'Connor, Sutton, Sumner and Mendez later went on to form the techno group Sandwell District. Hear clips of both releases on Hardwax. Listen to "Pipeline."
