  • Terrence Dixon has a new album on the way via Rush Hour . Reporting From Detroit marks Dixon's return to the label following his 2014 LP as Population One, Theater Of A Confused Mind. Rush Hour describes the forthcoming full-length as "another prime example of the distinctly unique sound language Dixon has developed over the last three decades - defiant, forward-thinking Afrofuturist techno that could only have been made in the Motor City." Last year, Dixon released two full-lengths under his own name—Galactic Halo and From The Far Future Pt.3—as well as a Population One double 12-inch, HCS994X. The title track off Galactic Halo appeared on RA's list of 2020's Best Tracks. Listen to the first cut off Reporting From Detroit, "On 7 Mile All Night."
