Michigan artist Jason Hogans has delivered the latest project for Theo Parrish's Sound Signature, the Mallets Creek EP
Hogans is known for soulful beatdown and broken beat sounds that embody the other side of Detroit’s electronic musical heritage. He has previously released records on Planet E, Third Ear and Moods & Grooves, and also puts out music under the aliases :Brownstudy and Medium Parnell. It's the first release of the year for Theo Parrish's Sound Signature label, following the sole 2020 record on the label, Parrish's album Wuddaji.
