Regenerate Music's first compilation, Point Of View Vol. 1, is out now.
The Mumbai promoter, which has hosted parties with the likes of Aurora Halal, DJ Nobu and Mike Servito since getting started in 2013, has opted to move into the record label business after setbacks suffered by the world's events industry throughout 2020. Regenerate director Bhishma Sagar explains, "Musically and professionally, we've all wanted an outlet—a channel to stream our emotions and thoughts into the unpredictable reality that is slowly coming back to normal."
The result is a 14-track release showcasing techno, house, electro and breaks from around India, with contributions from Kohra, Oceantied, Pooja B, Snad and Rafiki. Looking ahead, the second and third Regenerate releases will be an album by Fr4ctal and an EP from Vladimihir.
