- Four electroacoustic pieces are out now on the Editions Mego sub-label.
Electroacoustic works by Michèle Bokanowski and Lionel Marchetti are being released by Recollection GRM.
French composer Bokanowski's Rhapsodia / Battements Solaires features two pieces. 2018's "Rhapsodia" is dedicated to the choreographer Marceline Lartigue, while "Battements Solaires" is the soundtrack to Patrick Bokanowski's 2008 film of the same name. While Bokanowski has released numerous CDs since the early '90s, her work has typically featured in concert, film, television and theatre.
Marchetti's "La Grande Vallée" from 1993/95 features recordings from Drôme and Mont Ventoux, and the voice of Hélène Bettencourt. "Micro-Climat" from 1989/90 is the first part of the French artist's Sirrus cycle, and was premiered at a Cycle Acousmatique concert in Paris in 1991.
Both Rhapsodia / Battements Solaires and La Grande Vallée / Micro-Climat are available to download via the Recollection GRM Bandcamp while vinyl editions are expected to ship around April 15th.
