  • Mouse On Mars' new album, AAI (Anarchic Artificial Intelligence), is coming out on Chicago label Thrill Jockey. AAI is said to explore the intersections of race, culture and power within technology. It contains writings from Louis Chude-Sokei, a scholar of African Studies, as well as DJ Yağmur Uçkunkay, all of which are voiced through bespoke AI software. The Mouse On Mars duo of Jan St. Werner and Andi Toma also collaborated with collectives of computer programmers, their regular drummer Dodo NKishi and two former SoundCloud programmers. The 20-track record will be released digitally and on vinyl. Listen to "Artificial Authentic."
