  • The Hague festival Rewire is releasing audio recordings of past performances. The first batch of recordings, due over the next two months, are from the 2019 edition. Featured artists include Nicolás Jaar, British composer Kit Downes and Dutch group Ensemble Klang. These will be available via Rewire's new Bandcamp page on a pay-what-you-want basis. First up are two recordings by Jaar. The Chilean-American producer played with two different ensembles in 2019, one of which was a commissioned project called Nicolás Jaar & Group (pictured right). This performance arrives via Bandcamp on February 5th. The second release, due on February 19th, features Jaar with spatial designer and artist Vincent de Belleval. The third release, scheduled for March 5th, is a collaboration between Kit Downes on the organ and Ensemble Klang on electric guitar, piano, percussion and saxophones. Now ten years old, Rewire cancelled its 2020 edition due to the pandemic. It's due to return this year. Listen to "Live In The Hague" by Nicolás Jaar & Group. Visit Rewire's website for more details.
