Serendeepity, a record store in Milan, is releasing a collection of 12-inch compilations to mark its tenth anniversary.
From February until May, Serendeepity will deliver four EPs on a monthly basis via its in-house label. Each one consists of new tracks from artists who have supported the store over the past decade, it said in a press release.
The first edition, Ten Years Serendeepity Part 1, arrives on February 25th and spans four tracks from Tolouse Low Trax, San Proper, Fabrizio Mammarella and Jay Glass Dubs. Part 2 is due on March 25th, followed by the third and fourth volumes on April 29th and May 27th, respectively. Other featured producers include Egyptian Lover, Ellen Allien and DJ Marcelle, among others.
"From a musical point of view, we have allowed each artist to express themselves according to their own musical identity, while being inspired by their own vision of our context," the label described.
