Out Of Fashion Boys, a label based in China's capital city, is back with another compilation.
Arriving on May 11th, Punch Drunk: Out Of Fashion Boys Compilation Vol.2 is a ten-track LP featuring a global cast of collaborators. They include Greek artist NatCase, Shanghai's Laughing Ears, London-based Daniel Ness (who will be contributing a bonus track) Russian producer WULFFLUW XCIV as well as Hong Kong producers Alexmalism, Kelvin T and ASJ.
The album's title refers to the state of dizziness that accompanies heavy drinking and fights, the label explained in a statement. "We borrowed this concept to name our compilation, hoping it delivers the same experience aurally and emotionally even without vodka. So that you may keep your feet on the ground when the real punch comes."
Founded in late 2019 by Luxixi and TsingLung (pictured), Out Of Fashion Boys debuted with a self-titled compilation that was inspired by the city of Beijing. An offshoot of local club night and label THUVDR, Out of Fashion Boys also released HAM, an EP by Japanese producer Wrack last year.
