  • Listen to the first single from Clark's new album. Playground In A Lake, Clark's 12th album since 2001, was recorded with numerous collaborators, including string ensembles, cellist Oliver Coates, Chris Taylor (from Grizzly Bear) on clarinet, Rakhi Singh on violin, and vocals from Afrodeutsche, Kieran Brunt and a 12-year-old choir boy. The LP also includes vocals from Clark himself. He describes the album as "a story about real climate change, but told in mythological terms." The German classical label Deutsche Grammophon, which will release Playground In A Lake on March 26th, has previously worked with electronic artists such as Tale Of Us and Moritz von Oswald. Clark's music has been released almost exclusively by Warp Records, but in 2019 he appeared on Deutsche Grammophon with a score for Adam Egypt Mortimer's film Daniel Isn't Real. Listen to "Small."
