- It arrives, via Kode9, 15 years on from the original broadcast.
Kode9 has unearthed 29 minutes of footage from behind the scenes at Mary Anne Hobbs's iconic Dubstep Warz show.
In January 2006, Hobbs gathered pioneering dubstep DJs and MCs for a groundbreaking radio broadcast on her BBC-hosted Breezeblock show. There were back-to-back sets from the likes of Skream, Mala, Hatcha, Distance, Vex'd, Loefah and Kode9 himself, plus vocal turns from Crazy D, SGT Pokes and The Spaceape.
Aside from a few short clips and iconic photographs, the newly uploaded video, shot by Jess Edwards and Kode9, is the first real look behind the scenes of that night. It follows a Dubstep Warz @ 15 special from Hobbs on BBC Radio Radio 6 last week.
