  • Scuba's label Hotflush Recordings will release Close Call on January 29th. Paul Rose, AKA Scuba, revives a long-dormant alias for the new collaboration with UK funky artist, Roska. Rose's last release as Spectr was on Roska Kicks & Snares in 2011. Wayne Goodlitt, AKA Roska, however, has been active as Bakongo recently, appearing on Bristol label Livity Sound in 2020. The pair have been friends and casual collaborators for over a decade, but Close Call is their first official release together. The two-track EP will be released digitally by Scuba's long-running Hotflush label, which first featured Roska on a 2009 remix of Untold. Listen to "Close Call" and Roska's RA Exchange.
