  • Chicago vocalist and producer Paris Brightledge is putting out a new EP. Deep In My Soul comprises four house tracks and is set to land on March 8th via Clone Records. The record features reworks from Hula Mahone, Eric Kupper, and house music legend Marshall Jefferson. Chicago house heads Robert Bond and K-Alexi Shelby also contribute to the EP. The new 12-inch marks the fourth release on Clone Records' Clone Club series, a sublabel that has put out records from Kaspar, Mina Jackson & The Children and Jovonn & DJ Deep. Paris Brightledge frequently collaborated with Sterling Void in the '80s, teaming up for enduring vocal house classics like "It's Alright." Marshall Jefferson recently recovered from a bout of pneumonia which left him hospitalized earlier this month. Listen to snippets of the record here.
