  • Rip It Up, a new music industry bursary to support Black, Asian and diverse talent in North West England, is open for applications. Ten places are available for the six-month programme, split evenly between performing artists and industry professionals. Each successful applicant will receive training on various aspects of the industry from mentors such as guitarist Seye Adelekan (Gorillaz), rock duo Nova Twins and Facebook's Vanessa Bakewell. Applications are now open until February 15th. Applicants must be aged between 18 and 25 to enter. Rip It Up is a collaboration between Sound City, Youth Music, sm-mgmt and CAPLL LTD.
