Perfume Genius has announced a forthcoming remix album for his 2020 LP, Set My Heart On Fire Immediately.
Immediately Remixes features reworks by the likes of Actress, Nídia, A.G Cook, Jenny Hval and Boy Harsher. The music video for the latter's remix of "Your Body Changes Everything" dropped today.
"I'm very honored to have all these incredible musicians rework these songs," says Hadreas. "I felt personally remixed listening to their versions, hearing the spirit of my song completely transformed was very magical. Each one feels like a little portal to a fucked-up shared world."
Perfume Genius's critically acclaimed fifth album, Set My Heart On Fire Immediately, was released via Matador Records last year. Throughout his discography, he discusses queerness, domestic abuse and more.
