- The LP, out in March through Mute, includes collaborations with Ben Vince, K.K. Null and Haley Fohr.
Visionist will release his third album, A Call To Arms, via Mute in March.
The LP, which spans nine tracks, features collaborations with several musicians, including singer Haley Fohr (AKA Circuit Des Yeux), experimental artist K.K. Null and saxophonist Ben Vince. Visionist also sings for the first time on record.
"With every project I want to test myself, so with this ethos, I expand the landscape of sound I have created over the years," he says. "On A Call To Arms, I have furthered my musical direction in terms of collaboration in order to bring new layers of sonics, dynamics, energies and ideas."
He adds: "I had to stop taking refuge in the premise of 'people don't want to understand me' and focus on being the best communicator I can be."
In addition to the CD, digital and vinyl release, Visionist has partnered with Copenhagen-based fashion label Heliot Emil to create an album capsule collection. Find out more here.
