There are new details about Madlib's upcoming solo album, Sound Ancestors.
The record's due date is now set for January 29th. The album, which was written entirely by Madlib and edited and arranged by Four Tet, was originally announced in December. The LP's debut track, "Road Of The Lonely Ones," was released shortly after, premiering on Mary Anne Hobbs' show on BBC 6 Music. The 16-track record will land on Madlib's label Madlib Invazion.
