  • A new film has been released about Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, formerly known as English electronic outfit The KLF. Welcome To The Dark Ages documents the duo's goal of erecting a 23-feet-high pyramid using bricks made with the cremated remains of willing individuals, according to the project website. Dubbed the People's Pyramid, the monument is expected to contain over 34,000 bricks and will be constructed in Toxteth, an area of Liverpool. Drummond and Cauty are taking on the venture as The Justified Ancients of Mu Mu or The JAMs, an alias they've previously used. The KLF disbanded in 1992 after firing blank bullets at that year's Brit Awards. Two years later, they burned one million pounds on a Scottish island. In 2017, Drummond and Cauty resurfaced under the JAM alias with a novel called 2023: A Trilogy. For more details about the pyramid, visit the project's official site.
