- The Jackpot / Rona City Blues is the first in a series of Kode9 releases planned for this year.
Kode9's first release in over five years is coming out next week.
He hasn't released a full record on his own label, Hyperdub, since 2015 album Nothing. The new EP, titled The Jackpot / Rona City Blues, is described as "a couple of speedy little rollers." It will be released digitally and on vinyl on January 15th, and kicks off a string of new Kode9 productions planned for later in 2021.
In recent years, Kode9 has released Mr.Fingers and Burial remixes, a video game music project called Diggin In The Carts and a track on Hyperdub's collaborative compilation with Adult Swim.
