Chris Lake, a well documented favourite producer of Desyn Masiello’s has had his latest funked up electro house stormer ‘Changes’ signed by Alternative Route. Many of you may have heard it as The Essential New Tune on Pete Tong’s Radio One show on November 25 or the subtly titled ‘Piano Track’ on Desyn’s recent Balance 008 release.
The release has picked up plaudits in the press as well as support from top jocks, so expect its catchy piano hook to be a massive hit throughout dance floors worldwide. The flip houses a slightly darker and deeper alternative in the Dub Funk Mix, but it’s the slightly Old Skool A-side that we expect we’ll be hearing a lot more of in the early part of the new year as the record hits shelves in Jan 06.
Chris is currently launching his own label, ‘Rising’, the first release being ‘One Too Many / Electro Retro’. Both ‘One Too Many’ and ‘Changes’ were played on Pete Tong’s Essential selection two weeks running.
