Berlin-based experimental label Concentric Records has revealed a new compilation called Colliding Wind.
The seven-track set features new music from Tragic Selector—Terre Thaemlitz and Daisuke Tadokoro—the duo's first release in three years. Colliding Wind also includes new music from Etapp Kyle, Kareem Lofty and Kranky affiliate Christina Vantzou.
The compilation takes its name from the colliding wind binary, a system in which two massive stars emit powerful stellar winds that collide for a strong shock. "As we reference the state of world chaos today, a colliding-wind is a reassuring reminder of the inspiring thought that the act of coming together as one produces exponentially powerful results," says the label.
The album is available digitally with a limited-edition LP set for release on January 15th.
